Rick, a workaholic absent father, loses his twelve year old

son Luca at the beach, beginning a desperate race against the

clock to find him before it's too late.    Simultaneously, in the

future, an older Luca is drowning in his own physical and

mental abuse, having been haunted by his past which has cast

a dark shadow over his present.
